What is 'Sixer'?
Sixer is the world’s biggest social networking site for cricket fans with operations in Silicon Valley, California and Hyderabad, India. Sixer is backed by LINUS Capital, a California based investment group. Since it’s launch five months ago in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Sixer is enjoying fastest growth of any cricket related site with traffic and membership growing at 36% month-to-month basis. In last few months, thousands of news stories, pictures and videos were submitted to our site.
Sixer is unique in more than one way. The entire content on the site is generated by the members of the site. A visitor can submit videos, pictures and news to be shared by other members. Sixer is the only cricket related website that allows cricket fans to connect with other cricket fans in their gully or anywhere on the planet. Sixer has members from India and 28 other countries throughout the world. India is the top most country from where we see the highest traffic, closely followed by U.S., Australia, UAE and Canada.
One out of three members is inviting his/her friends to check out the site or share videos and pictures. This is pretty high for a site that is only five months old and goes to show that cricket fans love the interactivity provided by Sixer site.
